She loved a good get together and bathed in its laughter, joy and mirth. She enjoyed the sheer exuberance of travel and shopping for which she had style and flair.
She loved her husband, children and grandchildren deeply and kept her friendships and kin close to her heart. Yet she had a core of steel born from the prairie soil and used it to sail her own course.
We were fortunate to share so many memories.
She asked “Go to the friends we know and bury your sorrow in good deeds - miss me - but let me go”. And perhaps share a toast with your loved ones.
Private memorial will take place in the Spring.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MeM.com for the Herberts family.
