Stuart Burnett Lawson

Stuart Lawson passed away on June 8th, 2023, after a challenging battle with Alzheimer's.

Stuart is survived by his loving wife, Gail, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they created four beautiful children: Nicole, Casey, Michael, and Michelle. Stuart was immensely proud his children and he found great joy in being a Grandfather to Audrey, Hunter, Teagan and Casey. Stuart loved his family dearly and always strived to do what he believed was best for his loved ones.

One of Stuart's passions was exploring the world at a young age. He embarked on numerous journeys, immersing himself in various cultures and savoring the beauty of different places. His love for Jack Kerouac and the beatnik culture fueled his thirst for adventure.

Stuart had a brilliant mind and was an avid reader and lover of music. He was known for his insightful conversations and thought-provoking discussions that often kept him up into the late hours of the night. He always had a book in hand and reveled in the power of words.

Stuart held a special place in his heart for his mother, Isabel, who preceded him in death. Her love and influence shaped him into the person he became, and her memory remained a guiding presence throughout his life.

As we say our final goodbyes to Stuart, his memory will forever live in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Stuart. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives you touched.
