Wayne, a long time resident of North Vancouver passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his partner Lynne Smith of 25 years.
Wayne retired from BC Telephone (Telus) as a Field Service Representative after 35 plus years of service.
Wayne’s generosity, advice and warmth will be deeply missed by family and friends.
The family would like to thank Curtis Houlden, his nephew and Vancouver Coastal Health for their support during a difficult time. Also, we would especially like to thank all the staff that work in palliative care and LGH Hospice for their caring ways and kindness that they extended to Wayne.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation to LGH Hospice would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 15 from 11:00 to 2:00 at the Royal Canadian Legion #114, 1630 Lynn Valley Rd, North Vancouver.
