

She is survived by her husband Jimmy, parents Edwin and Barbara Hysaw, children Mallorie Tarbox (James) and Grant Estes (Drayson), their father Bill Estes, and by stepchildren Ashley Maddox (Justin), Caitlyn Tu (Chase), and Justin Tu (Margaret), her sister Stephanie Moore (Chris), her brother Stephen Hysaw, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Alana was a 1985 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School where she earned academic honors and played the clarinet. She was an accomplished pianist and loved to play hymns. She worked as a realtor prior to becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Jimmy to every sunny beach destination possible along with many trips to Disney World and other Disney resorts. Alana also enjoyed cheering on the Tide.
For the last three years of her life, one of her greatest joys was spending time with her mother-in-law at North River Village. She was also brought great joy by her grandchildren Stella and Sawyer. She loved teaching Stella the ABCs and cuddling baby Sawyer.
The family will receive visitors at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday May 7th, with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Sunset Funeral Home at 3802 Watermelon Road, Northport, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Moore, Justin Tu, Justin Maddox, Chase Hudson, Todd Hallman, and Duane Herring.
