Betty Higgins

The family will receive friends Wednesday night at Sunset Funeral Home September 22, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The Celebration of Life Service will take place Thursday September 23, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Sunset Funeral Home with Reverend Kelly Jolly presiding.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Don H. Higgins one son two grandsons one great granddaughter and one brother.

Survivors include sons Mark (Stacy) Higgins, Mike (Karen) Skelton, Don (Kathy) Higgins Jr., Phillip (Sharon) Higgins and Gene (Cathy) Higgins, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, sisters Joy Stripling, Ruby Robertson and a host of loving dear friends.

Betty graduated from Northside High School and retired from the Bank of Tuscaloosa and was a member of United Full Gospel Church.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother bring loved by many and will greatly be missed.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Robertson, Brian Robertson, Scott Robertson, Ryan Lyons, Chad Spencer and Terry Bryant.

Honorary pallbearers are United Full Gospel Church. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Channell , Tammy Essery, Charles Brown, Dave and Patsy Compton and Mr. and Mrs. Langham
