Bobbie Jean Gilliam

Bobbie Jean Gilliam, age 81, of Coker, died Feb. 10, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Montgomery and Ralph Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Gilliam; her father, Sherman Gilliam; her daughter, Nancy Price; her sister, Floy Moore; and her brothers, W.S. Gilliam and Ray Gilliam.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Houser (Virgil) of Coker and Kay Chandler (Joel) of Northport; her son, Kenneth Gilliam of Northport; her son-in-law, Scotty Price; her sister-in-law, Robert Mae Gilliam Long (Thelton); her grandchildren, Tammy Tucker (Ray), Sabrena Holloway (Jeff), Tracy Bean (Greg), Keith Falls, Scott Gilliam (Dana), Kevin Gilliam (Tina), Paul Gilliam (Lori), Tammy Chandler (David), Mike Herring, Kevin Herring, Ricky Herring (Andrea), Russell Price (Lesley), Ben Price, and Haley Phillips (Justin); 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Bean, Hunter Holloway, Blake Rinehart, Matt Rinehart, Rodney Gilliam, Todd Gilliam, and Dylan Falls.

Honorary pallbearers are Forest Manor Nursing Home, 3rd floor MICU, Dr. Stefanescu, Dr. Tactuk, Zack and Martha Gross, Martha Jane Hathcock, Duell and Angelyn Holloway, Vicky and Jim Barnes, Kristi and Sammy Moore, and 5 North nurses and staff.
