

NORTHPORT | Coy L. Wolfenbarger, age 75, of Northport, died January 25, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Reba Wolfenbarger and grandson, Nathaniel Wolfenbarger.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wolfenbarger; daughters, Rhonda Smith, Robin Smith and Donna Smith, all of Northport; sons, Jimmy Wolfenbarger (Amy) of Northport, Pete Wolfenbarger (Lesley) and Danny Wolfenbarger of Powder Springs, Tenn.; sister, Diana Whitten (McCree); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special little baby girl Roxy ( little dog).
Coy retired from Phifer Wire after 20 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. He loved watching NASCAR with his son Jimmy.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Wolfenbarger, Eric Wolfenbarger, Mike Collins, Luke Jackson, Shane Jackson, Danny Nix and Antonio Diaz.
Honorary pallbearers are Billy McAteer, Viola McAteer, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Stripling, Allen McDaniel and wife, Dale Cargile and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Barger and family, employees past and present of City Café Northport, Beverly Phifer, friends and employees past and present of Phifer Wire, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Harell, Jean Vance, friends and neighbors of Lakeland Forest Dr., Northport.
