

She was born and raised in Pike County Kentucky a coal miner’s daughter, into a family of modest means. The family moved to Chicago, IL., in the mid 1950’s where she completed school and started work at Chicago Lock Company where she retired in 1974 and moved her family to Northport, AL.
She is preceded by her parents, Lloyd Lee Murphy and Opal Faye Murphy; siblings, Jean Justice, Maggie Ruffner, Henry Lee Murphy, and husband, Freeman Webb.
She is survived by her children, Pamala Pacholski (Glen), Gregory Webb (Sue), Georgina Barger (Link) and Rodney Brisco (Ashley); grandchildren Michael Allen, Krystal Barger Agee (Jesse) and Caleb Brisco; great-grandson Caden Allen, and husband, Allen Brisco.
She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially quilting with her lifelong friends. She loved making quilts for her family and cooking. After moving to the South and learning different recipes from her friends, she became an incredible cook.
A visitation for Earnestine will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
A special thanks goes out to all the staff and residents of Heritage Health and Rehab for all the comfort and care that was given. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital in her memory.
