Edith Wetzel Ainsworth, age 86, of Northport, died April 8, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, is in charge of arrangements.
Her husband, Oscar Richard Ainsworth, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ainsworth was a retired teacher, where she taught many years with her late husband at the University of Alabama.
