Elizabeth Foley

TUSCALOOSA | Elizabeth Foley, age 86, of Tuscaloosa, died June 25, 2014, at home. Cryptside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Serenity Chapel Mausoleum with Rev. Ken Sanders officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Marcum; brothers, Harvey, James, Joe, Z. D. and Benjamin Marcum; sisters, Mary E. Harkey, Ruth Tingle, Dorothy Watson and Clara Bell; and grandchildren, Kimberly Foley and Meagan Foley.

Survivors include her husband, Raiford Foley of Tuscaloosa; sons, Don Foley (Joan) of Tuscaloosa and Marty Foley (Melonie) of Coaling; brother, Lee Marcum (Mattie) of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren, Mitchell, Micah and Matthew Foley.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She served the Lord all of her life working in many capacities with her church and community.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Alacare and her special caregivers, Connie Baird and Bernice Watkins; and also to Nancy Budzius for her special care.
