Frank (Pappy) "Joe" Beck

Frank "Joe" Beck (Pappy) age 71 of Tus. Passed away August 1, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama. Joe was born Feb. 16, 1947 to the late Levert and Novies Beck. Joe served in the United States Marine Corp. from age 17 where he was decorated during the Vietnam war. He retired with over 50 years in the painting industry. He gave love, support and dedication to his family and friends. Pappy will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. He was proceded in death by his parents Levert and Novies Beck, his loving wife Sherry Snipes Beck, brothers Donnie Beck and Billy Beck, sister Geraldine Sellers.

He is survived by his sons Danny Beck (Ginger) Scott Beck (Sabrina) daughter Sherylon Porter brother Jimmy Beck (Rita) sisters Ann Strickland and Minnie Goodman. Grandchildren Jamie Jacobs, Tiffany Porter (Jeremy) Cody Porter, Dylan Beck and Bri Sigler. Great grandchildren Addison and Kasipon Jacobs, Maci, Milana and James River. Sister In Laws Dewanda Beck, Sue Hendrix. (Ron). Best friend Shorty Booth

The funeral service will be Monday Aug. 6, 2018 at 2p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The visitation will be Sunday Aug 5, 2018 from 6-8p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Beck, Cody Porter, Dennis Strickland, Ken Strickland, Keith Beck, Mike Pritchett, Jeremy Kelly and Richard Jacobs.

Bro. Kelly Jolly will be officiating the service.

Our family would like to express our deepest apprecation to all the nurses and staff at Hospice of West Alabama whom gave exceptional care and attention to our pappy. We would also like tp thank Teresa Pritchett, Eunice McIntosh, Chris Folsom, Helen and Leon Beck and for all the prayers and kind services from family and friends.
