Gina Sanders Ramsey

Gina Sanders Ramsey, age 41, of Anniston, died Dec. 28, 2010, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kailey Ramsey, and grandparents, Charley and Pearl Sanders and Obie and Eula Mae Dennis.

Survivors include her daughters, Kristen, Katie, Kayla, and Karissa Ramsey; sons, Tim Sanders and Brandon Ramsey; a sister, Rhonda Blackwell; brothers, Ronnie Sanders and Dale Holley; parents, Gene and Carolyn Sanders and Judy Vermillion; and grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler, and Logan Ramsey.

Gina was born in Georgia to Judy Vermillion and Carolyn and Gene Sanders. She was raised in Alabama. She attended Shelton State and Central Alabama Community College, where she graduated at the top of her class and went on to become an RN.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Watson, Joe Blackwell, Michael Sanders, Clay Hammond, Glen Sanders, and Daniel Pearman.

Honorary pallbearers are NHC Healthcare, Oasis Healthcare, and the nurses of Regional Medical Center Anniston 7th Floor Stepdown Unit.
