Hubert Lee Strickland, age 89, of Buhl, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Hubert was born December 27, 1931 to India Ola Thomas Strickland and William Jonas Strickland.

Hubert is survived by his sisters Lois Mildred Way, Ruth Kate Barks, Catherine Farley, and Doris Nell Jones and his brothers Edward Ray Strickland and William Clyde Strickland. He also leaves behind many other beloved family members

Hubert was preceded in death by his wife Ann Sue Strickland; his father William Jonas Strickland and his mother India Ola Thomas Strickland.

Hubert was a U.S. Army veteran who was proud to serve his country. His remains will be scattered at his family home place in Gordo AL
