Jack Q Waldrop Sr.

Vance| Jack Q. Waldrop, age 77, of Vance, AL, died February 6, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 8, at Mercedes Drive church of Christ with Brother Doug Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in Vance Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mable Waldrop, and his brother Jim Waldrop.

Survivors include his wife, Marion C. Waldrop, his sons, Jay Waldrop (Kitty), Mike Waldrop (Rene), John Waldrop, and Mark Waldrop (Tonya). Grandchildren, Kelli Dailey (David), Terri Robertson (Jon), Luke Waldrop (Brooke), Robby, Michael, Natalie, Carsyn, and Maggie Waldrop. Great-grandchildren Jake and Briana Dailey, Jackson and Jillian Robertson, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers are present and former employees of JacMac Tire Co., Waldrop Tire Center, Vance Tire and Alignment, Northport Tires and Alignment, members of Northport church of Christ, Cottondale church of Christ, and Mercedes Drive church of Christ, Charles Adams, Bill Caffee, Sid Bains, Jimmy Adams, Mackie Deason, Sam Waldrop, Dr. John Summerford, and Hospice of West Alabama caregivers, Renee, Erica, Amy, Brenda, and Drew, special family friends, Helen Mulaparthi and Marie Strain.
