Jerry was born October 2, 1955 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Chad Lowery officiating and Sunset Funeral home directing. The visitation will be one hour prior to service at Sunset Funeral Home.
He was a Christian man and attended Old Salem Baptist Church in Cottondale, Alabama.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine, parents Margaret & Pierce Collins, and brother Gene Collins.
He is survived by his sister, JoAnn and Marvin James (brother-in-law), brother James Collins and several nephews and nieces. Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.
