Jesse Skelton, age 69, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith that touched everyone who knew him.
Jesse was married to Marilyn for 25 wonderful years, building a life full of love, support, and shared memories. Together, they created a strong foundation of family and friendship that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Jesse was a talented carpenter and craftsman, known for creating beautiful and lasting works out of wood. His talents extended beyond his craft; Jesse was also the proud owner of JSC Construction Company, where he demonstrated not only skill, but also a passion for his work.
In addition to his many talents, Jesse had a joyful spirit and a gift for making people laugh. His sense of humor and ability to bring smiles to others made him a beloved figure among his family, friends, and community. Jesse also found great joy in playing the role of Santa Claus during the holidays, bringing joy to countless children and families each year.
Jesse was a man of faith who prayed with his nurses and witnessed to others, quietly yet steadfastly continuing to worship the Lord throughout his illness. Though reserved, he was always a light to those around him, sharing his love for God through his actions and words.
He may no longer walk among us, but his spirit, his creativity, and his love for his family will forever remain. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to call him a friend, a husband, and a father.
