Martha Carolyn Cannon Simmons was born to Rev. Ike B. Cannon and Alice Taylor Cannon on April 6, 1938.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Ike B. Cannon and Alice Taylor Cannon, six brothers; JC Cannon, Ted Cannon, David Cannon, Lacey Cannon, Jerry Cannon, Robert Joe Cannon and sister Katie Marie Cannon. (Son) Dennis Ray Cannon. (Granddaughter) Jennifer Renee Cannon.
Survivors include (son) Phillip Cannon Wise and (daughter) Diane Watkins. (Sister) Mary Jean Cannon. 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn loved her grandchildren and animals. She was very talented, she played keyboard and piano and great seamstress.
Pallbearers Sean Cannon, Jordan Wise, Waylon Wise, Robert Cannon, Nathan Griffin and Nickolas Griffin Jr.
A visitation for Martha will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Road, Northport, AL 35473, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Boone Cemetery
