Maudie J Seale

BUHL - Maudie Jacobs Seale, age 84, of Buhl, Ala., died January 21, 2017, at her residence. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Buhl Church of God. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Calcedonia Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Howard Jacobs; brother, J.W. Jacobs; sisters, Ruth Marcum and Mildred Pate; daughter, Janice West; husband, Buford Seale; great- grandchildren, Tristen Piepho and Johenna Weaver.She is survived by her daughters, Tommie Kay Boutwell (Philip) and Rose Mary Smally (Darrell); sisters, Pauline Jacobs Christian and Helen Jacobs Walker; grandchildren, Lisa Baubeau, Travis West, Barbara Ann Majors, Tynissa Watson, Melisa Piepho, John-David Swiney, Robbie Steadman, Casey Overton, Jessie Weaver and Dalton Smally; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild. She was a mother of three daughters that she taught well with dignity and respect and her legacy lives on through her daughters and family. She was a faithful member of Buhl Church of God. Pallbearers will be Elvis Pate, Virgil Watson, Philip Boutwell, John-David Swiney, John-Owen Watson, Clint Piepho, Frank Christian and Dalton Smally. Honorary pallbearers are Gertude Montgomery, Mary Emma Crocker, Richard Burrows, Shorty Boothe, LaTonya Nash, Judi Westerling, Angela Swiney and Katie Johnson.
