Nancy Darlene Howell

NORTHPORT – Nancy Darlene Howell, age 58, of Northport, died June 2, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home with Mike Grey and Jimmy Holliman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, June 3, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McCafferty and brother, Jeff McCafferty, Great Niece Abigail Dodd, Nephew Alan McCafferty

Survivors include her husband, James Joseph Howell; daughter, Crystal Howell Bender; son, Joey Howell (Amanda); sisters, Dianne Findley (Ricky) and Janice Estis (Richard); brothers, Greg McCafferty and Dale McCafferty (Pam); mother, Doris McCafferty; and grandchildren, Marissa Bender, Landyn Channell and Karsyn Howell.

Nancy was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, friend and Nana. She gave her all to everyone and everything with a heart of compassion. May her loving heart and kind spirit live on through all of her loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Larry Leonard, Ted Stephens, Rick Estis, Patrick Dodd, Daniel McCafferty and Buddy Stephens.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the ICU nurses and staff.
