Patricia Lucille Snyder

NORTHPORT – Patricia Snyder, age 85, of Northport, died February 17, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Five Points Baptist Church with Ben Jameson officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Snyder; daughter, Marie R. Wery (Ronald); sister-in-law, Mable Snyder and grandson, Ronald J. Wery, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Leslie Butler (late Dale Butler) of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan. and Alise Stachera (John) of Northport, Ala.; sons, Earl Snyder (Michelle) of Depew, N.Y., Glen Snyder (Kathy) of Lancaster, N.Y. and James Snyder (Barbara) of Lancaster, N.Y.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After her husband Edward Snyder passed away in 2004, she moved to Northport, Ala. in 2006 where she lived with her daughter Alise and son-in-law, John and granddaughter, Alexandria. She loved the Lord and gave her life to God in May 2015 and was baptized. She loved her church family and enjoyed her quilting club friends at Five Points. She loved all her children and grandchildren. She loved everyone she came in contact with. She lived her life to the fullest. She was an avid reader.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, David Butler, Joshua Rogacki, Jason Rogacki, Ian Janicki, David Croft, Daniel Setter and Allen Aucoin.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. J. Brian Wilhite, Dr. Jim Ellison, Dr. Gene Alldredge, Dr. Richard Shamblin, IMA nurses, TJICU nurses and 6N nurses, Ala. Derm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Five Points Baptist Church Mission Ministry.
