Phillip Jameson "Dunkel" Hopkins, age 29, of Tuscaloosa, died Feb. 10, 2013, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Piney Woods Gospel Tabernacle Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by Cadence Marie Johnson.
Survivors include his parents, Cheryl Denham and Kenneth Hopkins (Linda); sisters, Emily Sims, Jennifer Hopkins Baker, and Rhonda Deese; brother, Andrew Hopkins; grandmother, Christine Hopkins; and nieces and nephews, Breanna, Dylan, Katelyn, Kali, Sarah, and Katie.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Hopkins, Dylan Johnson, Franklin Baker, Chris Armistead, Steve Driggers, and Fredrick Locke.
