BELLAMY | Thomas E. Williams, age 88, of Bellamy, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at Rush Hospital. Services will be 12 noon, Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Lamkin Memorial Baptist Church with Brad Campbell, and Randy Price officiating. Burial will follow at Lamkin Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Williams; daughters, Betty McGee (Red) of Bellamy, and Cathy Griffith (Willie) of Bellamy; sons, Tom Williams of Bellamy, and Jimmy Williams (Susan) of Lamison; grandchildren, Kevin Williams, Cliff Williams, Leigh Smitherman, Kristi Stokes, Jamie Williams, Beth Erickson, and Emilee Griffith; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was born on Sept. 10, 1926 in Washington County, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama, and was a retired accountant from Georgia Pacific Woodlands.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Williams, Cliff Williams, Randy Smitherman, Jason Stokes, Ben Erickson, and Richard Hester.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Lamkin Memorial Baptist Church and Siloam Baptist Church.
