Wesley Logan

Wesley Logan, age 95, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home with George Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6-8 at Sunset Funeral Home and he will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Logan; father, Ben Logan and Mother, Rosetta Logan

He is survived by his wife Mary Agnes Logan; daughters, Linda Honeycutt (Gary) and Denise Bryant (Randy); 7 grandchildren, Craig Honeycutt (Kaitlyn), Lindsey Anthony (Brent), Kristi Parker (Jed), Westley Hamner (Ashlyn), Trent Hamner, John Bryant (Courtney) and David Bryant and nine great grandchildren.

He retired from BF Goodrich. He was a veteran from the Navy and a member of Civic Conservation Corp.

Pallbearers will be Craig Honeycutt, Trent Hamner, Westley Hamner, David Bryant, John Bryant, Brent Anthony, Jed Parker, Phillip Mitchum, Scott Mitchum and Bobby Swindle.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Samantha and Northside Community and Samantha Volunteer Fire Department.
