NORTHPORT – William Raiford Moss, age 78, died May 25, 2017 at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Double Portion Church with Hayes Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Dunn's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Service directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. He was preceded in death by Gaye Lewis Moss, Milton Moss, and sister, Irma Watson. Survivors include his wife, Shelby McGee Moss; daughters, Maria Moss Overton and Sharon Moss; sons, Tracy Moss and David Moss; sister, Jean Ellis; brother, Hayes Moss; and grandchildren, Todd Hunter, Landon Moss, Peyton Moss and Ryan Moss. Pallbearers will be Todd Hunter, Ryan Moss, Mike Moss, Steve McGee, Jim Burkhalter and Darwin Ellis. Honorary pallbearers are members and longtime friends of Double Portion Church, Classmates of South Western Theological Seminary, and friends of Northport. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Double Portion Church
