Arthur Louis Rousseau passed away in his home in Northridge, California on Wednesday, 20 January 2016. He is survived by his wife, Katherine; his children, Mary Rowell, Ann Smith, Cindi Malchose, Paul Rousseau, and Julie Brumana; and six grandchildren. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan and earned his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. From December 1953 to September 1955, he served in the Army and received a National Defense Service Medal. He married his beautiful wife, Katherine Randall, in 1957 and moved to Northridge, California in 1960 where they raised their five children. He worked as an electrical engineer at Hughes Electron Dynamics Division in Torrance, California for over three decades designing traveling-wave tube amplifiers and retired in 1990. While working at Hughes, he earned his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from USC. In retirement, he enjoyed art museums, stamp collecting, and spending time with this family. Throughout their 58 years of marriage, Arthur and Katherine were inseparable and their love and devotion to each other was apparent to all who visited them.
