Dennis William Pacheco

February 21, 1959 - August 18, 2012

Lifelong Los Angeles resident passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012. Dennis was born in Encino, California to Fred and

Sue Pacheco. Upon graduation from The University of California, Los Angeles he pursued a career in Hospitality Finance.

Dennis married Jilanna Jacobs of Uniontown, Washington on January 28, 1989. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed

the simple things in life. He marveled at the beauty of sunsets and spent many vacations camping with friends and family.

Soccer and cycling were two of his passions. He remained close to his parents and siblings. He was a Phi Kappa Sigma

Fraternity brother and Bruin to the end.

For the past 20 years Dennis served as Controller of The Los Angeles Country Club. He loved his job and thought of the people

there as his second family. Dennis is survived by his parents; his wife Jill; his sons Jacob and Tyler; brother Roger Pacheco

and his wife Kelly; sisters Kathleen Pacheco and Diane Pacheco; seven nephews and two nieces.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 28th at 7:00 pm at Bastian & Perrott, Oswald Mortuary - Northridge, California. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 29th at 11:00 am at St. Bridget of Sweden Church in Van Nuys. Immediately following, burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth.
