

Franklin “Frank” Rayman Budhu died at home in Simi Valley, California, on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Frank was born on February 13, 1960, in New Amsterdam, Berbice, British Guiana in South America. Frank is survived by his son Jordan Budhu of Simi Valley, California, and his daughter, Whitney Budhu, of Huntington Beach, California. Jordan earned his Bachelor degree from DeVry University, Master’s degree from California State University Northridge, and currently attends UCLA for his PhD and Whitney received her Bachelor's degree from FIDM and received her MBA form Woodbury University.
Frank was incredibly proud to be their father and of all their accomplishments. He is also survived by his mother, Olive Budhu, of Northridge, California, his sister Rosemary Budhu and his brothers, Virgil, Trevor, and Richard Budhu. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, close friends, and loved ones. Frank’s love of golf and bowling kept him busy as did his entrepreneurial spirit. Frank was a successful business owner, earning his paralegal and real estate licenses. Frank was known as a giving, caring, and loving man by all who knew him. His smile and laugh will be remembered by all.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday, May 3, from 5pm to 8pm at Bastian, Perrott, Oswald Mortuary, 18728 Parthenia St., Northridge, CA, 91324. The memorial service will be held at the same location on Monday, May 4, at 10am. Frank will be laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Park immediately following the service.
