

He was born in New London, Ct on August 17, 1961 to the late Willie D. Pemberton and Elizabeth Hall-Hurley of Norwich. He attended NFA and worked for area restaurants and roofing contractors. He enjoyed cooking and cleaning, had a great sense of humor, and was a Cowboys and Lakers fan. He attended Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Old Saybrook, CT.
“Wayne” is survived by his mother, daughter Mandisha Pemberton, brothers, Steven Pemberton (Patricia) of Norwich, Warren Pemberton (Nicole) of Atlanta, Ga., Anthony Hall of Colchester, Robert Hall, William Hall, Harold Hall, Joel Hall of Norwich and Rasheem Hall of New London, sisters Barbara Hughes of New Jersey, Brenda Stone (Bryant) of Griswold, Jean Smith, Judy Bell (Jervis), Joyce Mathers (Ernie), Barbara Hall of Norwich, grandchildren Quincy, Destiny, William of Norwich, his aunt: PaulineTate of North Carolina, his uncle; Jimmy Pemberton of New London, and a host of nieces and nephews. Two special friends Phil Camby and Derek Roderick of Norwich.
He was predeceased by his father and brother Willie D. Pemberton Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT.
Homegoing Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home immediately followed by burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Norwich, Ct.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Quincy Cook Fund, C/O Dime Bank in Norwich to assist with future medical expenses for his grandson Quincy and nephew Michael Morgan who have been diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy.
