Arthur J. Falvey Jr.

Arthur was born to Frances and Arthur Falvey Sr., July 20, 1967 in Norwich, CT. Arthur graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1985 and received his bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1989.

Upon graduating college, Arthur started his own landscaping company. He owned and operated that business his entire adult life. Arthur was a hard worker that prided himself on the personal relationships that he developed with his customers.

Arthur was a tremendous athlete and enjoyed playing sports very much. Baseball, basketball and weight lifting were his favorites. Arthur was an ardent New York Yankees fan that rightfully despised the Red Sox and New England Patriots. His favorite Yankee of all time was Mickey Mantle.

Arthur was very big and strong in stature but had a sweet and tender side to him. He had a playful sense of humor that made everyone laugh. He had a knack of giving everyone very funny nicknames.

Arthur's greatest loves were his dogs. He had four Rottweilers: Dozer, Kaiser, Goose and Panzer that he cherished.

Arthur loved his parents and his brother Brian very much. They meant the world to him and were the focus of his life.

Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Avenue Norwich TODAY Feb.7,2014. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday Feb. 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St. Patricks Cathedral Norwich. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery Norwich.
