Norwich-Barbara Jean (Dean, Berthiaume) Miller, age 64, of Norwich, passed away on April 19, 2016 at Backus Hospital. She was born in New London on June 26, 1951 to the late William Andrew and Rouletta (Martell) Dean.
Barbara is survived by a son Adam Berthiaume of Danielson, a son James Berthiaume of Florida, a brother William Andrew Dean Jr. of Utah, sister Jo-Ann Pillow of Moosup, Nancy Tatro of Canterbury, Janet Savignac of Sterling, Judy Petrowski of Norwich and Carol Culver of Baltic. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Christopher and Benjamin Berthiaume, a close friend Jason Poirer of Norwich and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara will be remembered as a giving, caring, loving woman. She worked hard all her life, at times three jobs, to help her family. She has played the role as mother, sister, aunt, grandma and friend to many.
A graveside service will be held at Lovett Cemetery on Hanover Road in Sprague on Saturday April 30th at 11:00 a.m.
