was strong-willed and extremely independent, unfortunately that came to an end when she departed peacefully after a short illness. She was 95 years old.
Our loving Mother was the heart of our family. As a young mother of five, she was active in her children’s activities and often the organizer. She was always there for advice, love and comfort.
As the years went on Csilla (Oma)’s greatest joy remained the same, spending time with her growing family. She is survived by her sister, Maria, sons, James M. (Sandra), Joseph (Valerie), Jeffrey, and John, daughter Susan, six grandchildren, fourteen great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, James J. Quarto and her granddaughter Kristina Quarto, never forgotten.
Csilla (Mom, Oma) will always be remembered for her positive personality, generosity, passion for life and strength of spirit. She lived through some of the world’s most significant events and her legacy will live on through life stories told.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Joseph Living Center, Windham Connecticut. (in memory of Csilla Quarto).
