Davey, you are irreplaceable. The light the was God placed in you was so infectious to everyone who came in contact with you. Through all of our ups and downs as siblings I always looked up to you and wish I could be more like you. Your goofy grin is something I will miss the most. I'm sure you have God and your angels rolling in laughter as you tell them your life stories. I can't wait to see you again in heaven. Love and miss you brother.

Chrissy, I may not of ever met him, I know how much you loved each other and how much he loved all of his kids. My heart breaks for you all.  May God comfort you and give you the strength to carry on. I send my heartfelt condolences and prayers for your unimaginable loss. All my love sweet girl.

Dave Morrow was an extraordinary person. I had the privilege of knowing him since he was a baby…he is my nephew. He was so adorable, smart as a whip, kind hearted and always had a big grin that showed his dimple. There was no masking the mischievous glint in his eyes that were frequently seen by those of us who loved him. 

When he was little, we called him Davey Bear because when we would play with him and tickle him, he would laugh with a little growl. 

I’m so proud of all the things that he has accomplished in his life. I grieve that it has been so many years since I last saw him.  

My condolences to my sister, Sharon, who is his mother, his father, Dave, his brother, Michael, Davey’s wife, Chrissy, children: Chase, Mattie, Gaven and D.J. as well as his extended family. You were all especially blessed to have Dave in your life.  

My prayer is that God grant you His peace and love during this time of loss. I trust the pain will slowly turn into many, many fond memories that are loving, humorous, and comforting .

My dad Rev Russel Denham.  Before he passed away, I remember dad carrying Davey around singing and praying over him as a baby. They had a special bond that meant so much to me.  My favorite pic of all — the pic of true love.

David Johnathan Morrow was a very, very smart man. He was an amazing artist. He was a very caring and devoted father. Always wanted to make his family happy and would do so by whatever means. He worked his tail off to provide for his family and that’s something we will never forget. Dad, I love you and I’m sorry. I will forever miss your voice, your deep laugh, the sympathy chuckles you would give me when my joke was bad, your hugs, and most importantly, your presence. I remember the hikes we would go on as a family. You, Chrissy, D.J., Gaven, and I. I remember you telling me that you thought about me every time you heard the song Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. I remember the makeshift slip and slide outside the house in Groton where we would spray soap on us to make us go faster. I will forever remember the way you had to wave with your whole arm after the accident on the ATV. There are so many good memories that I will cherish forever. Like making salsa in the kitchen with you at the house in Georgia and getting to be on America’s Funniest Home Videos after you and Chrissy scared Chase and I with that alligator at the alligator farm we went to. There are some things that I will always associate with you: Diet Coke, Saltine crackers, that I used to call Daddy Crackers, salt water taffy (you used to be obsessed with those) and especially, ramen. Even the Adult Swim channel. I remember when we would spend the night at Nana and Papa’s house down in Florida and I would wake up in the middle of the night, not able to sleep, and I’d go cuddle with you on the couch where you fell asleep watching TV and Adult Swim would be on. You’d hold me in your arms and help me get back to sleep every time. I’ll miss the way your hugs made me feel so safe and secure. I’ll miss the lowcountry boils with the tarp on the dining room table but these memories will always be here in my hea rt. I love you, Dad and I’ll always be your little girl.

What can we say about our first born son, David Jonathan Morrow (Davey Bear) and oh what a ride. We never knew a quiet moment with him and his brother, so full of life, fun,  and love.  From having a kindergartener, whose teacher was holding his hand until I arrived to hear the news of his bad day, to watching him wrestle in the high school, to seeing him complete his Navy training,  to starting a family and watching it grow.  What a joy you have been. Your mom and I have always said it was a privilege to call you our son and an honor to raise. There were more good times than bad but one thing for sure, you were going to laugh when you were around Davey Bear. This has been a big loss to our family.  I know the pain Chrissy and the boys are going thru but, like I told his boys and Chrissy, I will always be there anytime they need me and I know they will be there for Nana and Papa. The tears may flow but the joy and memories will last forever.  Son, we love you, and proud of you and your family.  You have done a great job with the family. Rest in peace knowing we and your friends can help Chrissy and the boys climb this mountain.  We have always said God has blessed this family and you are proof. Till we meet again son.

They say you live the 'dash', the time between your birth and death, 1981-2024.  In reading memorials from Davey's friends & coworkers, he truly lived the 'dash'.  He lived a life that mattered with his hand outstretched in friendship, the lives he touched, smiles he evoked,  and the light he leaves behind. 

Davey always had a curious mind, unrelenting at times, even at 3 years old. Always respectful, he was never typical or shy.  Being carried in by grandpa one day, Davey leaned over plucking the 1st and only blooming tulip in grandma's planter to give her, she only chuckled in delight. He'd easily wrap his arms around his mom, and wrote a touching eulogy for his grandpa. 
 
What a difference one single life has made,  he has left a handprint on our hearts.

Dave was and still is one of the greatest people to come into my life. As a father in law, he never made me feel anything less than a daughter to him. He was the best dad to his children and was so excited to be Pappy Dave to our little boy. Every phone call we had, we would always have a laugh. We love you and miss you so much <3

Dave always made life tolerable on the Albany. Always had something corny to say, or, in typical nuke fashion, something weird to do. The world will be a bit less enjoyable without Dave around.

Davey was my cousin. I still reference him as Davey because my memories are of us as kids. We played in the summer, swam in the pool, and occasionally babysat each other with our siblings. Family dinners always brought us together.  We will miss you!

To Chrissy and rest of Dave's Family and Friends. I have only known Dave for a short time but it was long enough to make a huge impact on me. A guy like him is a one of a kind and will truly miss him for the rest of my days. My visits to the cigar lounge will not be the same without him there. You are an amazing friend and brother in the leaf I will miss you every day

David was my cousin. I have many great memories of growing up in West Palm Beach together.  I’m not sure how he felt about the nickname “Davey Bear” but that describes him perfectly - always with a huge smile and full of love. You will be missed!

You were one hell of a guy.  From being together down in Georgia to countless jobs and beers in CT--First round is on you for when we meet again.  Friday the 13th is next month, where's your first haunt?

Dave, I only knew you for a short time, but we hit it off right away. I’ll treasure all our laughs together and every second we shared. I’m going to miss you so much brother. I promise to keep Chrissy out of trouble. Rest easy my brother and I’ll see you on the other side.

Dave’s the man. I met Dave 7.5 years ago when he was  getting ready to get out of the Navy. We were RadCon techs together for 10 minutes and compared to everyone  else he was the chillest most down to earth fun guy you wanted to work with! I encouraged him to come be a supervisor at EB and luckily it happened just a short time later. As a supervisor he was one of the best. He took care of his employees and genuinely cared for people. He would ensure you were set up for success with his impressive organization and would ALWAYS stand behind his guys if they did something he told them to do. He was one of a kind. After a couple years he went over to Decon where now I had the pleasure of working alongside of him as a RadCon supervisor when I was assigned to his building… I looked forward to seeing him and cracking jokes back and forth.   One of the best senses of humor and never got hurt over a joke.. such a loss.   To his Wife and Children, know that wherever he sat there were countless pictures and trinkets of love from you guys. He loved you more than anything and talked about you all the time. Take care in this incredibly difficult time, my heart goes out to you.

David was our nephew. As a youngster, he was full of energy, energy and more energy.  But, he was also full of compassion and happiness.  In the “Denham Family Circle”, he was given the nickname of “Davey Bear” because he was so huggable and loving.  He was a very intelligent young man-sometimes a little too intelligent for his own good.  As an adult,  he pursued life the same way he did as a kid-full of energy, compassion, happiness, intelligence and perseverance.  If he wanted to do something, he found a way.  He loved his whole family and they loved him back.  Davey Bear, you are missed!
