Earl J Brown Sr

He was born in Norwich on January 6th, 1939, son of the late Lloyd Edward & Edna Louise (Green) Brown. Earl lived in Norwich all his life working in yarn mills and later in construction for the Local Union #547 of New London. He married the former Sharon Elizabeth Sheldon on July 23, 1965. She predeceased him in 2004.

Earl had many friends and relatives who loved him. He enjoyed bowling and fishing with his uncle Paul. He leaves one son; Earl J. Brown Jr of Norwich, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, brothers; Louis and Edward Brown of Norwich, a sister; Alice (Sowell) Brown of Colchester and countless friends. Besides his wife, Earl was also predeceased by his son Rodney and brothers; Eugene, Michael, Ernest and Richard, and a sister; Patty (Sebastion) Brown. He will be sadly missed.

Calling hours will be Friday from 5pm-7pm at the Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT with a funeral service at 7pm. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
