Francis "Dan" Daniel Blondin

He was born in Pittsfield MA son of Robert and Pauline (Rice) Blondin who preceded him in death (2013, 2014). He is survived by his Aunt Nancy of NH. Dan also leaves his beloved brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim (Sara) of Blue Springs, MO; Bill (Jeannine) of Griswold, CT; Gary (Kim) of Bolivia, NC.

Also survived by his nephew Chris (and wife Amy) of Ipswich, MA; Jeannette of Preston, CT; Anne Marie of Boston. Dan also leaves numerous cousins and other relatives.

Dan was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked several local jobs and retired from Schwann Food Service. Dan was active in many sports but enjoyed his favorite pastime of annual deer hunting in VT. Dan coached baseball at the Norwich Little League. In his youth, he was active in the St. Peters and Paul baseball leagues. He enjoyed watching sports on TV in his leisure time.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 11am to 12pm at the Church and Allen Funeral home located at 136 Sachem St. Norwich, CT, followed by a funeral service at 12pm.
