

He was born in W. Milford Twp., NJ on Jan. 12, 1936 to the late Herbert and Edythe (Hargreaves) Hannah. He served in the US Army until his Honorable Discharge moving on to a lifetime career as a carpenter and later a superintendent in the construction industry until his retirement.
On Jan 28, 1956 he married his beloved wife Dawn (Jennings) in New Foundland, NJ. She survives him.
Gordon enjoyed building virtually everything from homes to his own boat and even a personal airplane. He was formerly a Deacon at the Bozrah Centre Congregational Church and a volunteer for the USCG Auxilliary assisting safety and rescue patrols. His greatest enjoyment however was his time spent with family, particularly his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Dawn, son; Gordon Hannah Jr and his wife Ellen McCarthy, two brothers; Russell and Stuart, two grandchildren; Liam and Eileen and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Shirley Zacksher and Irene Baird.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 2pm at the Bozrah Centre Congregational Church with Military Honors to follow the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
