Harold R. Stott

Norwich-Harold R. Stott, age 86, of Norwich, passed away on March 22, 2011 at his home on Gifford St. It was a short but defiant battle of cancer. He was born on November 23, 1924 in Norwich to the late Leslie and Eunice (Malloy) Stott. He was married in 1962 to his wife Louise (Fedeli) Stott.

Harold had achieved over 60 years of active membership in the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 40. He was also a veteran of WWII, serving mostly as a field medic in the South Pacific.

Beside his wife he is survived by a daughter Laurie Sklener and her husband Charles of Norwich, a daughter Leslie Ann Stott of Hartford, a brother Kenneth Stott of Vero Beach, FL. and grandchildren Justin Sklener, Bernard Guzman and Victoria Cabera. He also leaves behind several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers Sonny (Leslie Jr.), William, and Albert Stott as well as sisters Myrtle O’Leary and Eunice Frink.
