Irene E. Hannah-Morgan

Irene E. Hannah 77 of Norwich died Friday Oct. 31, 2014 at Backus Hospital. She was born in Norwich daughter of Raymond and Irene (Hazaid) Morgan. She was employed at the TVCCA where she helped elderly people. Irene loved fashion, and contributing to charitable events. She also very much enjoyed cooking, and loved soap operas. She is survived by her 2 sons, Bruce Sandsbury of Texas, and Anthony Sandsbury of Georgia, her brother Raymond “Stevie” Morgan of Norwich, a sister Gail Torrence of Norwich, as well as numerous grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren . She also leaves her “loving companion” William Alvarez, as well as a host of friends and relatives. She was predeceased by two sisters, Geraldine Lemon, and Rachael Sheriff. Visitation will be Tuesday Nov. 4, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Church and Allen Funeral Home 136 Sachem Street Norwich. A Funeral Service will Be held on Tuesday Nov. 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Norwich.
