

John is survived by his two sons, Joseph Tamborra and his family, as well as Anthony Tamborra and his family. He was a proud grandfather to three grandsons and two granddaughters, whom he loved very much. He is also survived by his brothers Patrick Tamborra and his family, Daniel Tamborra and his family, Sabino Tamborra of Tucson, Arizona, Edmund Tamborra of Lisbon and his family, and Christopher Tamborra of Upton, Massachusetts, and his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, the Honorable Sabino P. Tamborra and Mary (Driscoll) Tamborra, his brother Michael, and his best friend Gordy. John is also survived by his aunt, Sheila Driscoll, and his cousin Sandy of Massachusetts, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
John worked most of his life as a judicial marshal. Outside of work, he enjoyed gardening, winemaking, and card playing. He liked to hike, loved the beach, and cherished camping and road trips across the United States.
John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his kindness to everyone he met and his willingness to help others in times of need. In recent years, John found his faith, which brought him peace and comfort. He also had a lifelong love for loud music—especially The Doors and Pink Floyd. Whenever you hear their music, turn it up and think of John.
There will be a private burial service for his immediate family. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring, with details to be shared at a later date. John was an organ donor which helped others in need. In John’s memory please consider being an organ donor. You could be saving a life like John did.
