Kathleen Elizabeth (McCuin) Galligan died peacefully on September 21, 2025 after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Up into the end she maintained her kindness, grace compassion and a love for her friends and family.
Kathleen E Galligan was born in Boston MA on September 15, 1949. Kathy graduated UConn with a masters in Education and taught in the Norwich school system for over 20 years. She loved her dogs Skipper and Molly. She loved spending time with her friends and family when she wasn’t outside in her garden or at the beach. Her quick wit and humor will be missed along with her courage and bravery facing challenges.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter Amy (David) Kendall and Rebecca Seder and many grand and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Paula Agins and her Brother Brian (Cathy) McCuin both from westerly.
She is predeceased by her son Patrick Galligan, and her parents Vincent and Elizabeth McCuin.
Calling hours for Kathleen will be held Monday, September 29th from 5pm - 6:30 pm followed by a funeral home service at 6:30 pm at the Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St, Norwich, CT.
