Laura L Duffy-Hoffman

She was born at Letterman Army Hospital in San Francisco, CA on July 18, 1962 to Linda (Stahl-Millstead) Middleton and Larry Millstead. She grew up in the Napa Valley, California, where she attended school. She continued to live with her mother and dad, Mikel E. Middleton in California, Virginia Beach, Virginia and in Norwich, Connecticut. After school, Laura worked for years as a bus and van driver for public and private organizations. Throughout her all too short life, she loved being around and taking care of children. Known to some as “Dodo”, Laura was known for her sense of humor. Just some of her passions were family, music, reading, fashion, yard sales, antiques, gardening, jewelry making, painting and sewing. She was generous, loving and kind to everyone.

Laura was a loving wife and mother and leaves behind her husband Peter J. Duffy Sr., their children; Peter J. Duffy Jr. his fiancé Marie Parry, Mikel P Duffy, and Victoria R. Duffy. Besides her immediate family and parents she is also survived by sister Marie Louise Scott and her husband Greg Scott, their children Megan, Reina (her children – Gerald, Justyce and Austin), Tiffany (her children – Kaylee and Kelsea) and Melissa Scott and her Aunt and Uncle – June and Tom Carole, cousins Barbara and David Henry and Susan Carole, her Father Larry Millstead, step-mother Laverene Millstead and sister Lisa Millstead, along with countless family friends and co-workers.
