Lorelei Baron

Lori Baron (Lorba), age 63 of Norwich, left this world surrounded by family on November 2, 2024. She is predeceased by Emil and Millicent Soderberg. Forever with her are her amazing daughters Kathryn Baron (Arden Bush) and Gillian Maurer (Chase), the precious pieces of her heart Jaxson and Garrett Maurer, sisters Janice Silva and Linda Ali with whom she shared the most amazing life, multiple nieces and nephews, a great niece and great great nephew. A shout out to her nephew and football buddy, Bro. She also left behind her dear lifelong friends Gerri and Cosmo Seaburg.

Following a 10-year law career, she spent 28 years employed by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, loving the adage that when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. She is forever grateful that of those 28 years, she worked a total of three.

Her passions were crafting, bingo, reading, and beachcombing. Lori was blessed to live her death as content as she lived her life. She asks that you practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty.

Calling hours are at the Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem Street, Norwich, CT. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 5-8pm with a Celebration of Life at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, Lori would like to honor all of the CT. fighters and survivors with donations to the Connecticut Cancer Foundation, 15 Main St. Old Saybrook, CT. 06475.
