Lyril Marie Dietz, Age 56, passed away at William W. Backus Hospital on January 19, 2019 after a long illness. She was born on June 23, 1962 to her loving parents Wesley A and Sandra (Laubenheimer) Dietz.

Lyril lived life simply and had many passions. She enjoyed being a Chef and cooking for her closest family and friends. Lyril was also passionate about music and was a talented artist.

Besides her loving parents Lyril will be sadly missed by her 2 daughters Chelsea L. Dietz and Shealah M. Doyon of Norwich and a son Jarrad W. Dietz 21, (predeceased) of Norwich/Griswold. She also will be deeply missed by her 2 brothers Peter Dietz and his wife Lori of Canterbury and Lance Dietz and his wife Cheryl of Lisbon. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren Jovani Dietz, Dejean Robinson and Kylie Dietz of Norwich. In addition to all of the lives Lyril has touched and family members left behind we cannot forget to mention her beloved cat “That One” whom has faithfully been by her side for the past 18 years, also misses her dearly.
