Mary Eyberse Lodyko

Mary was born May 19, 1939 in Norwich, the daughter of the late William and Agnes Kane.

She was married to the late Karl Eyberse and the late Ralph Lodyko.

She had worked at SNET as an operator for 10 years and then at the William W. Backus Hospital as an operator in the PBX for 13 years.

She was a member of the Yantic Fire Engine Company Women’s Auxiliary, the Monday night women’s bowling league and the Tuesday morning breakfast club. She was an avid Red Sox and NY Giants fan.

She is survived by her sons William Eyberse and his wife Laurie, Daniel Lodyko and his wife Kelly, by her daughter Karen Guertin and her husband Todd, sister Patricia Stolz, by her 8 grandchildren Amanda Eyberse and her fiancé Matt Dawley, Jonathan Eyberse and Jacob Eyberse, Ryan Guertin and his wife Ashley, Kyle Guertin and his fiancé Stephanie Benoit, Tyler Guertin and Joshua Lodyko and Avery Lodyko and by her great grandson Madden Guertin. As well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was predeceased by her brother Walter C. Kane.

Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 9 am to 11:00 am and proceed to a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Norwichtown at 11:30 am. Burial will be private for the family.
