Paul Garfield Canon

Paul Garfield Canon, age 74, born to Arthur Garfield Canon and Florence Anna Canon January 2nd, 1948. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Frances (Canon) Klinke and her daughter Joan Florence Klinke and several cousins

Paul lived in Norwich most of his life and graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1967. He loved reading fiction as well as reading about automobiles and learning the local history of the area. Paul did some traveling, living for about a year in the Netherlands and he also enjoyed a trip out to the southwestern United States. He also enjoyed going hunting with his friends each fall. For several years he was able to provide venison to his family and friends.

He worked for a time in the execution of the silk screens needed to print fabric patterns at two different companies in the area.

In later years he stopped working to take care of his mother full-time, allowing her to stay in the home that she loved to the end of her life.

Currently there is no service scheduled as he will be cremated and will be interred in the Spring or early Summer at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich, Ct.
