He is survived by his fiancé of 21 years Barbara Furbacher of North Franklin, two daughters Brenda Collins and Denise Delude of Nevada, a great granddaughter Paris Collins of Nevada and a sister Betty Gudeahn of Bozrah.
Family and friends may visit Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich on Monday, January 10th from 2-4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Baltic. Richard will be laid to rest in St. Mary Cemetery, Baltic, Connecticut at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
