Robert L. Bugbee Jr.

Robert was born Sept. 27, 1948 in Tucson, AZ, the son of Alice Mitchell and the late Robert L. Bugbee Sr.

He married Pamela Hyland Jan. 10, 1987. She survives him.

He served in the United States Airforce for almost a decade, being discharged as a Staff Sargent.

He had worked as an estimator of mechanical systems at the Nutmeg Companies Inc.

He was an avid golfer and a long time member of Pautipaug Country Club. He was also a member of the US Power Squadron.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by daughters Kimberly B. Wolfe and husband William W. Jr. of Preston, Tamara B. Bordeau and husband Joseph E. of Norwich, siblings Ruth Vera and husband Curtis of Maine, Jason Bugbee and wife Diana of Norwich, Linda Salvaggio and husband Bernard of Norwich, by his grandchildren Olivia, William and Marisa Wolfe of Preston and Becker and Mason Bordeau of Norwich, and by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister Lisa M. Bugbee.

Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at Christ Episcopal Church in Norwich at 10 am, meeting directly at the church. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
