Robert was born in Norwich, the son of the late James and Charlotte (Ranger) Capallo.
He had worked at Shop Rite as well as for Quality Insulation. He had also worked as a painter, having painted St. Mary''s Church in Norwich. Robert was a very hard worker who always did everything for others, while never expecting anything in return.
He is survived by his siblings George and Melanie Main, Jeanne Silliman, Joan Tomes, Heather Nye and David Preston, and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Connie and John Thompson.
A calling hour will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St. Norwich on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 10 am to 11 am.
The Church and Allen Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
