L & M Hospital in New London CT. Robin succumbed to a long battle with alcoholism and a broken heart from losing her son, Drew May on September 14, 2010. Robin was born March 6, 1964 in Norwich, CT to William Wildowsky and Charlotte MacNeil Wildowsky of Montville, CT. She will be forever missed by her longtime companion Curt May of New London, CT, daughter Jennifer Miller and fiancé Richard Lee Hill III and her granddaughters, Kayla and Cameron Hill, all of Waterford CT. Her step son Jeffery Miller and oldest granddaughter Hailee Miller. She is also survived by her siblings, Laurie Wildowsky Costello and fiancé' Jim Barber, Jeannette Wildowsky Svata and William Wildowsky Jr., her maternal grandmother, Mary MacNeil and a very large extended family. Robin attended Montville High School and Mohegan Community College then found her life's work with The Department of Developmental Services (DMR). She began as direct care staff 30 years ago, working her way up to group home supervisor of Roger’s House, in Waterford CT. Robin was a phenomenal cook; she could always create something out of nothing and loved nothing more than feeding and entertaining her love ones. Robin adored her children, the ocean, the family farm, horses, gardens, thrift shop finds and crafting with her grandbabies. Our family will forever have a chasm that losing her has left but feel so honored to have had her as one of us, just simply not long enough. There will be a service held at the Calvery Chapel, Febuary 18th at 2pm, 126 Sharp Hill Road, Uncasville, CT 06382. In lieu of flowers please make donation to her favorite place of thrift shop finds; GOODWILL, Briar Hill Plaza, 201 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, CT 06360 . To send a tribute or express a condolence, please visit: www.churchandallen.com, or please send condolences to Robin’s Daughter, Jennifer at: 13 Highland Drive, Waterford, CT. 06385. Thank you!
Arrangements under the direction of Church & Allen Funeral Service, Norwich, CT.
