Stanley C Jones

He was born in Sebastian, FL on Dec. 12, 1944 to the late Stanley and Tessie (Anderson) Jones. He served in the US Navy until his Honorable Discharge. Thereafter he worked for F.W. Brown Construction and then as a bridge inspector for the State of CT DOT as one of their scuba divers. He was a simple man who kept to himself but truly enjoyed spending time with his family wintering in Florida and coming back up to CT in the summer.

Stanley is survived by his sons; Stanley Ulysses Jones, Jeremiah Jones, Patrick Missino, daughter; Dawn Urban, brother; Dallas Jones, sister; Sonia Engall and her husband Chick, grandchildren; Joshua Jones and Hannah Missino along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 1:30pm at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, CT. Calling hours/visitation will begin at noon until the time of the service. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
