Sue J Hedtke

She was born in the Bronx, NY on Jan. 12, 1931 to the late Philip and Susan Kirchner. After graduating high school entered the US Navy. It was there she met her beloved Fredrick Hedtke who she married within three months of their meeting. They have been married for the past 62 years. Sue worked as a Tax Preparer and homemaker. She truly enjoyed the beach adding every car she ever owned was a convertible with sand on the floors.

Besides her husband Fred, she is also survived by her sister; Betty Fiorentini, grandson; Eric Harman, and great-grandson; Nico Harman. She was predeceased by her daughters; Phyllis Harman and Kathy Richards.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 24th at 2pm at Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT with a calling hour from 1pm until the time of the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
